But recently I've seen at least a couple of friends on Facebook talking about how they're migrating to Dreamwidth after LiveJournal became <a href="http://io9.gizmodo.com/russian-owned-livejournal-bans-political-talk-adds-ris-1794143772">subject to Russian laws</a>. These laws include everything from not discussing LBGTQ issues in a positive way, to not criticising the Russian government.&nbsp; Added to that, I recently tried to log in to LiveJournal and realized to my horror that they don't have any HTTPS support for their login, and that settled that.<br /><br />The question at the moment is, will I start using Dreamwidth again after 7 years of not blogging? I can't say for sure, but I do want to keep my old entries from LiveJournal even after I disable my account there.
