[The curtain opens with Matt Arnold bending over his espresso machine]

Matt: Would *you* like some coffee?

Me: No, I think it's too early in the morning for coffee.

Matt: ...wait, what??

[Stunned silence as an almost horrified look passes across Matt's face]

Me: You do know that caffeine sometimes puts me to sleep, right?

[Another pause]

Matt: Mutant freak!!!

[Matt runs screaming from the room. The network cuts to a jingle for antacids...]

That happens to shekkara too. It may also be linked to abnormal metabolism of other drugs as well, eg the -caine series of anesthetics. So beware.

I don't believe I've ever had any problem with novocaine, although it's been a while since I've needed any. I'm not sure I've tried anything else from the -caine family (particularly not iocaine powder ;P ).

Have you heard anything regarding Vicodin, per chance? That's a pain killer that doesn't work correctly for me.
