As I was driving today I was reminded of just how appalling the new high-priced housing and condominiums going up in my area really are. First off, there's nothing worse than a swarm of white yuppies (and occasionally a handful of token minorities, although that's still doubtful) moving in and ruining the property values. My god, in the past 2 months I have seen not less than three new Starbucks-type coffee shops spring up along the stretch where I live! (And I can't stress to you enough the dire nature of this fact. Be very afraid for the future of America!) ( More Fear )
