Fashion Crimes
Sep. 14th, 2006 01:35 pmI'm back from Maine, and I may post some pictures when I get the film developed.
But on to today's fun!
The Bible has such interesting gems. I'd like to share with you one of my new acquisitions to my collection.
Leviticus 19:19 says:
I'd like you to note the last line. Yes, that's correct. Wearing polyester is a sin! (So all those fashion critics were right!) I guess anyone who lived through the seventies is going to hell. Sorry, Pat Robertson!

1 The KJV says "linen and woolen", but the actual Hebrew translates as "two kinds of mixed stuff", so I chose the NIV.

Leviticus 19:19 says:
Keep my decrees.
Do not mate different kinds of animals.
Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed.
Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material. (NIV)1
